Message from the chairman
In the past 30 years, Global Connections Public Company Limited (GC) has encountered many challenges, domestically and internationally. Notably, global economic slowdown despite increasing competition and rising environmental awareness. The Company has continuously and successfully adjusted its strategy to respond to these ever-changing trends. As a result, we have been able to achieve revenue of 5.9 billion baht with net profit of 191 million baht and we are in a good position to move forward in years to come.
Global Connections PCL is one of the leading polymer and petrochemical distributors for top producers such as PTT Global Chemical PLC. (PTTGC), a subsidiary of PTT Group. International companies such as ExxonMobil Chemical, Celanese Pte Ltd., Eastman Chemical and Chi Mei Corporation have entrusted us to be their leading distributor in plastic resins, additives and petrochemical products in Thailand. In addition, we continue to invest in product research and development under Brand GIC which has reaped rewards in our ability to increase our product variety in the market
The company remains focused on enhancing our capacity in corporate governance, risk management, internal audit, and lawful and sustainable business practices that are socially and environmentally friendly. We have been rated “Excellent” in corporate governance by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) for eight consecutive years since 2017. Furthermore, we continue to foster a culture of learning and innovation within our organization to establish a strong foundation for our ongoing research and development efforts. We believe this is the foundation for our sustainable growth.
